What we are and our history.

The Deep Psychiatric & De Addiction Hospital provide mental health care system by Pharmacological treatment as well as providing clinical evaluation and treatment services for a broad range of emotional, cognitive, and behavioral disorders for patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Led by Dr. Neeraj Gadwal   mental health care providers in the private sector, our team comprises of clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists and special educators. We provide mental health care on an inpatient admission and outpatient basis and include individual, family, and couples approaches.

Substance dependence also known as drug dependence is an adaptive state that develops from repeated drug administration, and which results in withdrawal upon cessation of drug use. A drug addiction, a distinct concept from substance dependence, is defined as compulsive, out-of-control drug use, despite negative consequences. An addictive drug is a drug which is both rewarding and reinforcing. ΔFosB, a gene transcription factor, is now known to be a critical component and common factor in the development of virtually all forms of behavioral addiction and drug addictions, but not dependence.
